Graduated with a Biological and Medical Sciences degree from The University of Jordan. Earned the Master degree in Genetic Counseling and IVF Counseling from Australia. Graduated with Master degree in Clinical Embryology and ART techniques from Spain. Enrolled in a PhD program in Public Health -Reproductive Health from USA.

Her career started as a research assistant in medical school/ preimplantation genetic testing. Mrs. Karkatli has more than 25 years’ experience in Embryology, reproductive sciences’ research. Currently, working in HealthPlus Fertility Center - Abu Dhabi as a Senior Embryologist and Research and Education Lead/IVF lab.
