Dr. Luis Navarro Sánchez has worked in the field of human genomics for over 12 years, with a focus on disease and reproduction. With a background in biochemistry, he researched the genetics and epigenetics of neurodegenerative diseases during his PhD at the Institute of Biomedicine, in Valencia. Since, he has worked in both the public and private sectors in Spain and internationally. He has been with the Igenomix research and development department since 2017, where he specializes in reproductive genetics.

As an integral part of the research team, he devotes his time to the improvement of tests related to aneuploidy detection. More specifically, at present, in the development of a non-invasive aneuploidy detection method.
